West Virginia-North Carolina Betting Prediction

A pioneer in the offshore gaming industry continues to amaze with his inside information in betting. No, we are not implying he has information on any kind of point shaving or about the players themselves per se. But “Big Red” has key info on how Vegas college football lines are made, where the sharp money is coming from when it comes to local bookmakers, big money offshore books and Las Vegas sportsbooks.

The recent run is outlandish at 26-5. The LateInfo Line is now another part of OffshoreInsiders.  You remember them from their Freescoreboard scorephone days where they were documented over 85 percent with these rare plays.

“Big Red” is a major figure and pioneer in offshore betting. He has unique access to professional oddsmakers and gamblers. All his bets are based on consulting with elite handicappers, pro bettors and linesmakers. He has one that rises to the level of a Special Release on 4:30 EST ESPN clash East Carolina versus West Virginia. Stevie called this pick in at 10:51 EST. Big Red says while all parameters are pointing towards the same side, key outlaw movement from outlaw books on the west coast. Click now to purchase

A free college football pick follows, but let’s take a look at power of 620 sports services behind every selection. It’s handicapping’s version of the Fantasticks.

A scorephone turned internet handicapper is 7-1 with football locks. He says the underdogs are barking and has his College Underdog of the Month.

The Coach Potato is the premier television handicapper in the world.  In 1988 after having success as a handicapper, investing 70-plus hours per week, he opted to streamline and concentrate on only national TV games.  His efficiency has paid off hitting at least 58 % in college and pro football and basketball. All plays are rated equally. He has Texas-UTEP and Oregon State-Penn State

Far and away the top football betting handicapper on a Canadian based site, this tout has his Unbelievable Upset Special.

The namesake handicapper on a cable television handicapping show has his College Blowout Game of the Year and we have it for about half the price he’s charging as part of the entire day’s handicapper package.

The biggest named handicapper on a website and one of the grizzled veterans in the industry has hit 65 percent of his Favorite, Underdog and Revenge Games of the Week. He is charging $50 and you get them for pennies, yes pennies on the dollar here.

Wow, a big named satellite radio handicapper is coming out with his CFB Total of the Year. He’s selling it for $49.

The No. 1 preseason publication handicapper has hit 3-of-4 Chairman’s Club plays. He has another such Chairman’s Club play Saturday.

Sports service out of Midwest is the No. 1 all-time CFB service in units won. Their highest rated plays are Executive Plays and they hit one Thursday on Vanderbilt. They go to 4-0 with such plays as they have three more today

Free pick: Buddy Pirnick Game of the Week is on Akron against the sportsbook line.

Forensic handicapping guru Stevie Vincent has a Perfect Play which means an angle that is a 100 percent angle, with a minimum of 10 games. Stevie Vincent proves time and time again that you get what you pay for. His quality over quantity, less is more philosophy means only two plays Saturday are strong enough to bet, but this is why forensic sports handicapping has revolutionized the industry. Jim Feist Proline Television Show

We will always give credit where credit is due. It sounds like the Jim Feist net guys are heeding the advice of Senior Football Handicapper Mike Godsey of GodsTips, anchor of OffshoreInsiders.com

On the Proline cable television show, the handicappers Dave Cokin, Scott Spreitzer, and Jim Feist were all preaching Godsey’s law of not reading too much into a game that you watched last week.

In the past few days, the media has quoted LVSC head linesmaker Ken White and former Stardust oddsmaker Joe Lupo said the same thing. They released lines than their sportsbooks adjusted lines based on public perception.

This explains exactly what Godsey’s outlaw line is. The official outlaw line is what the odds would be if there was no consideration given to public perception and balancing the action.  It is the more accurate line from the standpoint of the bettor.

Kudos to the Feist crew for preaching what Mike Godsey of OffshoreInsiders.com has been doing for decades.

Pregame Betting

Bet at 5Dimes

When in the course of human events the time comes for winning football picks, both against the college football odds and the NFL betting line. The best pregame betting information is on the Tailgate Party.

It appears the earthquake in San Francisco and Oakland Bay area as well as looking at the computer models for Hurricane Ike, will not cause any postponements in football.

While football handicapping dominates, there is still NASCAR betting. There’s only one more Sprint Cup race before The Chase gets underway – and that’s the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 on Sunday afternoon.  Here’s your Daily Sports Roundup . . .

Betting event of the day…

It’s hard to single out just one because the world’s top sports service plays are up now. However, Stevie Vincent has one of his renowned Perfect Plays going. Perfect Play means an angle that is a 100 percent angle, with a minimum of 10 games.

Stevie Vincent proves time and time again that you get what you pay for. His quality over quantity, less is more philosophy means only two plays Saturday are strong enough to bet, but this is why forensic sports handicapping has revolutionized the industry. Event of the day . . .

The drivers to watch on Sunday will be those hovering around the cutoff line for the 2008 Chase – most notably Clint Bowyer, David Ragan, and Kasey Kahne. Bowyer currently holds down the 12th and final spot in the Sprint Cup Series playoffs; he’s got a 17-point lead on Ragan and a 48-point advantage on Kahne heading into Sunday’s race.

That urgency has put Bowyer at 12/1 on the Vegas odds to win the Chevy Rock & Roll 400, with Kahne at 20/1, and Ragan farther back of those two at 35/1. Standings leader Kyle Busch is pegged as the 9/2 race favorite, with the surging Jimmie Johnson at 6/1, Denny Hamlin at 8/1, and both Carl Edwards and Tony Stewart following at 10/1.

Bowyer picked up the win in the Crown Royal 400 at Richmond back in May, while Johnson visited victory lane at Richmond twice in 2007. Stewart has three career Richmond wins, as does Dale Earnhardt Jr. (who is sitting at 12/1 odds for Saturday). Jeff Gordon (who is back at 18/1 odds) has picked up two Cup victories at Richmond.

Non-event of the day . . .

No. 13 Alabama got off to an impressive start to the season last week, handily knocking off Clemson by a score of 34-10. So what are Tulane’s chances of making a game of it at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday night? Not very good, according to the oddsmakers – the Crimson Tide are pegged as huge 30-point favorites in the contest.

Also on the schedule . . .

Brandon Webb (19-6, 3.19 ERA) gets another shot at his 20th win on Saturday when Arizona plays in Los Angeles; the Dodgers will start Chad Billingsley (13-10, 3.13 ERA). Also on tap around the National League: Philadelphia at the Mets, San Diego at Milwaukee, the Cubs at Cincinnati, Washington at Atlanta, Florida at St. Louis, Houston at Colorado, and Pittsburgh at San Francisco.

Over in the American League Saturday’s top pitching matchup will be in Chicago, where the Angels and John Lackey (11-3, 3.10 ERA) will be taking on the White Sox and Gavin Floyd (15-6, 3.61 ERA). Rounding out the AL slate: Tampa Bay at Toronto, Detroit at Minnesota, Cleveland at Kansas City, Boston at Texas, the Yankees at Seattle, and a doubleheader between the Orioles and the Athletics in Baltimore.

College football’s top-ranked team, USC, doesn’t play this weekend, but it’ll be No. 2 Georgia vs. Central Michigan, No. 3 Ohio State vs. Ohio, No. 4 Oklahoma vs. Cincinnati, and No. 5 Florida vs. Miami. Those ranked teams are favored by 24, 33.5, 21.5, and 22.5 points, respectively, in those four contests. There are no matchups between ranked teams on the gridiron this weekend.

Finally, the B.C. Lions are pegged as 3.5-point road favorites in their CFL matchup against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Saturday night, and there are three games on the WNBA slate: Detroit at Washington, Los Angeles at Houston, Minnesota at Seattle.

News from the wire . . .

The Giants began their Super Bowl defense with a 16-7 win over the Redskins on Thursday night; Jason Taylor had been questionable for Washington with a knee injury, but he managed to play . . . the Phillies will skip Kyle Kendrick in their rotation on Sunday, instead using ace Cole Hamels (12-8, 3.01 ERA) against the rival Mets.

Peek at the future . . .

The Bears and Colts will cap off the first Sunday of National Football League action tomorrow night, with the Colts 10-point favorites to win at Lucas Oil Stadium . . . 20-game winner Cliff Lee (20-2, 2.32 ERA) will take on 10-game winner Zack Greinke (10-9, 3.67 ERA) in the Indians/Royals matchup on Sunday . . . Lewis Hamilton and the drivers of Formula One return to the track with the Belgian Grand Prix on Sunday.
