The NFL betting odds has Philadelphia Eagles as a four-point favorite over the Arizona Cardinals and the Vegas betting line has the sportsbooks favoring the Pittsburgh Steelers by six over Baltimore.

No. 2 Wake Forest and No. 10 Clemson are a combined 31-0 heading into their matchup at Littlejohn Coliseum on Saturday afternoon (3:30pm ET tipoff). Bettors have found a little more value in the Demon Deacons, though, as they sit at 7-4 against-the-spread; the Tigers haul just a 5-5-1 ATS mark into the contest. Wake Forest bounced Boston College 83-63 last time out, getting 29 points from Jeff Teague. Clemson is coming off a 63-51 victory versus N.C. State last Saturday.

The Rest of the Schedule

The Celtics will look to knock off the Nets for the second straight game on Saturday afternoon when they tip off in New Jersey at 1:00pm ET. The 32-9 (and 21-20 ATS) Celtics blasted the Nets 118-86 at home back on Wednesday night. Paul Pierce led the way with 22 points for Boston in that victory, while Kevin Garnett picked up 20 points. Devin Harris poured in a team-high 17 for the Nets.

There are eight other games on the NBA’s schedule for Saturday, all in the evening. Detroit will host New Orleans and Miami will play in Houston in a couple of big east/west matchups, while Orlando will be trying to get a victory in Denver. As well, it’ll be Portland at Charlotte, Philadelphia at New York, San Antonio at Chicago, Milwaukee at the Clippers, and a west clash between Utah and Dallas.

The NHL also offers up a single matinee Saturday afternoon, with Los Angeles at Dallas at 2:00pm ET. The top game on the ice, though, begins over eight hours later, with the Red Wings taking on the Sharks in San Jose. Rounding out the busy NHL slate: Carolina at Buffalo, New Jersey at the Islanders, Montreal at Ottawa, Boston at Washington, Florida at Tampa Bay, Atlanta at Nashville, Chicago at St. Louis, Anaheim at Minnesota, and then finally Phoenix at Calgary.

A Peek at the Future

The NFC Championship Game between the Eagles and Cardinals kicks off at 3:00pm ET on Sunday afternoon, while the Ravens and Steelers will meet in the AFC Championship Game in Pittsburgh at 6:30pm ET . . . a light NBA schedule for Sunday features only Phoenix at Toronto and Miami at Oklahoma City . . . the NHL has four games on its Sunday slate, including the Pens hosting the Rangers.

Other Notable Events

The Hornets will try to be the first team to pick up a win in Cleveland this season when they take on the Cavaliers in NBA action on Friday night. LeBron James and company head into that marquee matchup with a 19-0 home record; every other team in the league has lost at least twice in their own building this season.

The other big battle on Friday has Orlando on the road against the Lakers. The Magic head into that game on a five-game winning streak and with a sizeable lead in the Southeast Division standings. Rounding out the Friday slate: New York at Washington, Toronto at Indiana, San Antonio at Philadelphia, Detroit at Oklahoma City, Utah at Memphis, Minnesota at Phoenix, and Milwaukee at Sacramento, while Golden State will get a tough home matchup against Atlanta. 

The Rest of the Schedule

There are a half-dozen games on the ice around the National Hockey League on Friday night, including New Jersey on the road in Columbus. The Devils are coming off a 5-3 road win in Vancouver, with Dainius Zubrus picking up a goal and an assist and Scott Clemmensen making 26 saves. The Blue Jackets slipped past Colorado 4-3 at home in their last outing, getting three points from Kristian Huselius. Rookie goalie Steve Mason stopped 23 of 26 shots in the win.

Three of New Jersey’s Atlantic Division rivals are also in action on Friday, with Pittsburgh hosting Anaheim, Philadelphia in Florida, and the Rangers in Chicago. As well, Toronto will be on the road in Atlanta, and Colorado will host Edmonton.
