Best MLB Sports Service Free Picks

OffshoreInsiders.com Senior Sports Handicapper Matt Rivers has a Thursday winner is on the Yankees (-1.5 +100)

Reasoning: Ivan Nova continues to be a really solid hurler and to not lay much besides that extra run and a half is fine with me. Nova has impressed me ever since that first start last season in Toronto where he loaded the bases in the first inning and found his way out of it. This kid is not great but he is pretty good and at home against the Royals should be more than enough.

Kansas City has had a better than expected first month plus, including the extra inning win yesterday, as Billy Butler and Alex Gordon are not bad at all but it’s still the big bad Yankees at home against the Kansas City Royals with a mediocre guy in Sean O’Sullivan. To get Arod, Jeter, Tex, Cano, Swisher and the rest of the Bronx Bombers here flat out cashes the ticket a lot more than it doesn’t. Obviously being at home could eliminate an at bat which is tough at times when laying that extra run plus but I just do not see KC being able to truly compete in this thing. If they do and only lose by a run then so be it, I pretty much can never lay around $2 so to be able to play the run-line is the way to go.

Expect Nova to do his thing for about six innings and in the end the Yankees bats get some knocks in and win in the range of 6-2.

Top expert pick on this game: NY Yankees on the runline

For more information: Nothing I can say about what happened to the Celtics last night as that’s just one of those horrific horrific beats, it happens. Still well ahead of the Crookie and back at it today to improve upon the numbers above. Two plays and two winners for at least another 500,000* of profit. 300,000* Bulls-Hawks along with a 200,000* Mets-Rockies. Tomorrow I will be a bragging and you can be as well! Astros vs. Reds MLB Picks Plus Tigers vs. Twins Bet Winner

OffshoreInsiders.com Senior Sports Handicapper Matt Rivers has a Major League Baseball odds winner on the Houston Astros (+110) to Cincinnati.

Reasoning: Last week we had this same pitching matchup in Cincinnati and it was Homer Bailey and the Reds who came through with relative ease. I liked the Astros plus the solid takeback in that one and fell short but will have no problem at all going right back to the well now in Houston at a sweet underdog price.

Yes Bailey had a really solid first start to the season and yes the Astros are a well inferior team that does not have the offense of the Reds. But in revenge I am still all about Myers as the guy has been really good since leaving Philadelphia and I just don’t see Bailey besting the more experienced and superior hurler for a second time in a week, I just don’t.

Bailey came up a few years back as a heralded kid with a world of upside but none of that ever materialized. The right-hander still has a shot to be good but I’m not fully buying it. Until he consistently does it over and over again I’ll take my chances fading him as this type of a road chalk with what I believe to be the clear better pitcher in Myers at home. We will need Pence or Bourn or Lee to get in a few knocks as the Houston lineup overall is garbage and well below Joey Votto and the Reds but the price is right to back Myers and the ‘Stros in revenge.

Top expert pick on this game: Houston from Matt Rivers

Detroit is 7-1 to left-handed pitchers. Minnesota is 1-7 off a loss and 3-14 in their last 17 after scoring 2 runs or less in their previous game. They are a disgraceful 1-8 in Liriano’s last 9 starts after scoring 2 runs or less in their previous game.

NBA Locks: Heat vs. Celtics

OffshoreInsiders.com Senior Sports Handicapper Matt Rivers has an NBA lock Monday is on the Miami Heat (-1) to Boston.

Top expert pick on this game: The Celtics pretty much staved off elimination with that great second half in game three but can they do it again? I say no.

The last thing that I am going to do is sit here and try and bag on Doc Rivers’ squad. Boston is still extremely capable with very experienced players and a foursome as good as any. Pierce, Garnett, Allen and Rondo are super dangerous and can beat anybody anywhere. But I do believe that Wade and LeBron are going to step things up tonight and play a full 48 minutes, something they did not accomplish in that last game.

The Heat were somehow flat in that last game, I saw it as did many of you. Besides the solid second quarter they didn’t show all that much. I don’t see that happening again here in Beantown against what is still a banged up Boston squad. Pretty much all of the key cogs for the home C’s are hurting with maybe Garnett being the most healthiest and at any time that can change, as we have seen in recent seasons. Rondo still has the back issue, Allen with the chest and Pierce with you name it.

Boston is still a fairly confident bunch and should be in this thing but in the end I do believe the true cream will rise to the top and that will be King James and his mates.

Two plays today and two winners today. The numbers are still top notch for sure but after the recent skid I just don’t deserve to tout them and won’t tout them. But when I go 2-0 tonight I’ll come with them tomorrow that you can be sure of. 300,000* Oklahoma City-Memphis plus a 200,000* Chicago-Anaheim. Click now to purchase

Free MLB Picks: Cubs vs. Reds

OffshoreInsiders.com Senior Sports Handicapper Matt Rivers has a pick Sunday is on the Cubs (+105) to the Cincinnati Reds.

Reasoning: Ryan Dempster had a horrible first month to the season but finally looked pretty good in that last start in Los Angeles. I still don’t love the sinkerballer nor do I love the Cubs but the Reds have been far from much of late and I’ll back the northsiders today at this cheap home price.

Johnny Cueto when on can be awesome and I’ll be the first to admit such. But this is the righty’s first start of the season thanks to the shoulder injury and I’m really not all that sure how he is going to fare in this first start. It really wouldn’t shock me if he was in the shower by the third inning to be honest as guys like Soriano, Pena and Fukudome aren’t great but are potent enough at times.

Cincinnati started the season 4-0 and ever since has been very mediocre. Joey Votto can be great and I like Jay Bruce and Brandon Phillips as well but the defending NL Central Champions have just not been that good of late.

Dempster still has ace type potential with that biting sinker and at Wrigley I’ll back him and fade Cueto in his first start. The Reds are struggling a ton with the bats and have not been the same team we saw last season. It’s not the easiest thing to trust the Cubbies but that is what I am going to do today as the Reds are really no better.

Top expert pick on this game: Chicago Cubs

For more information: All in all last week was an abomination, plain and simple. The Heat’s second half yesterday about summed things up but the winning days have been a very impressive 39 of the last 63 and the profit is still at a whopping 6 million stars. It’s not what it was, there’s no doubt about that and I would never sugarcoat like some do. But with that said the last few months are still probably better than any other handicapper on this planet in that span so I’ll take it.

Three winners today including the highest play in my arsenal, a 500,000* between da Bulls and da Hawks. 300,000* Lakers-Mavericks and a 100,000* on the diamond with the Diamondbacks and Padres. Click now to purchase

NBA Lines: Grizzlies vs. Thunder

OffshoreInsiders.com Senior Sports Handicapper Matt Rivers has an NBA lock Saturday is on the Memphis Grizzlies (-3) Oklahoma City.

Reasoning: It’s tough to go against Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook as the Thunder are a team with tremendous upside but I’m going to roll with the vastly improving Grizzlies. Memphis completely outclassed the experienced and very good Spurs at home and I can see them take care of business here as well.

Lionel Hollins’ team is not looking like an eighth seed at all. These guys are extremely confident and seemingly have not missed a beat without Rudy Gay. Zach Randolph is a beast, Mike Conley, Jr. has become a quality point guard, Marc Gasol is playing better than Pau Gasol and all in all the Grizz at home should win this game and this price is cheap enough to therefore expect a cover.

I do think that Oklahoma City could and probably should win this series in the end as they have the experience from last season but in this first game back in Elvis’ hometown I will roll with the growing Grizz and expect the crowd to go ballistic and get rewarded with a win and cover.

Top expert pick on this game: Memphis from Matt Rivers

For more information: A winning Friday as the 400,000 star Mets came through. That’s now 39 winning days compared to only 23 losing ones and an overall boatload of profit. Two more plays and at least 700,000 stars of profit as I fly over the 7 million mark. Another 400,000 star is here in this game between the Heat and Celtics along with a 300,000 star involving the Braves and Phillies. That Crookie is about to get smacked around one more time. That you can bet on! Click now to purchase

Chicago White Sox (+160) to Seattle Free MLB Underdog Bet

OffshoreInsiders.com Senior Sports Handicapper Matt Rivers free Friday pick is on the Chicago White Sox (+160) to Seattle.

Reasoning: Ozzie Guillen’s Sox certainly have been awful for a while now but Felix Hernandez or no Felix Hernandez this Seattle Mariner squad just can’t be laying such a big price. King Felix has as much of an upside as anybody and I certainly love upside but the Seattle lineup is weak and all in all the M’s are just a bad baseball team that can lose anytime they take the field.

I definitely can’t say the White Sox are any better than bad because that is what they have been for a while now. With that said though “the good guys” still have powerful hitters in Konerko, Dunn, Beckham and a few others and are going to start to play better ball at some point in the near future. They have to as they are a lot better than what they have shown and a lot better than today’s opponent.

Phil Humber has shown some glimpses this season. Just ask the Yankees about that as he almost no-hit the Bombers at the Stadium. The guy is far from Cy Young, I readily admit that, but he is at least serviceable and should hold his own against the punch and judy Mariners. Humber shouldn’t be better than him. I don’t trust Hernandez but he should be able to outclass the M’s lineup and put up his share of zeros.

I don’t trust either side in this game and in a small play I’m therefore fine with taking back a solid number like this.

Top expert pick on this game: White Sox

For more information: Another tight one run loss for Matt Rivers yesterday on the Brewers but still well ahead of the man and ready to put some more notches in my belt today. It’s funny how the luck has certainly gone against me over the past week and yet the numbers are still fairly staggering.

A pair of Friday plays, one on the diamond and one on the hardwoods, as I roll into the weekend in style. 400,000* Dodgers-Mets and a 300,000* Bulls-Hawks. Don’t just watch me win. Win with me. Get Rivers locks at OffshoreInsiders.com

Astros vs. Reds Picks and Prediction

OffshoreInsiders.com Senior Sports Handicapper Matt Rivers has a Major League Baseball winner for Thursday is on the Houston Astros (+135) to Cincinnati.

Due note this a 12:35 EST game so if you need to get down on it do it early.

Reasoning: Homer Bailey had a ton of fanfare when he broke into the big leagues because of his stuff. But thanks to injuries and frankly underachieving the guy has not really materialized into all that much. Bailey is still young so I’m not going to write him off just yet but as of right now he is no Brett Myers and I’ll therefore back this road dog and take my chances.

When all is said and done it’s the Reds who are clearly the superior team of these two. Joey Votto is the reigning MVP and Dusty Baker’s club has a high upside. But things have not been all that great after the 4-0 start to the season and if not for the three run 9th inning yesterday Cincinnati would in fact be under .500 going into this game. So it’s not as if everything is all hunky dory with the defending NL Central champions because that’s far from the case.

The Astros aren’t very good, I get that, but ever since leaving Philadelphia Myers has been an absolute machine and that’s with those last two starts against the Brewers being one of his weaker ones in a Houston uniform. This guy hurls quality start after quality start and is a horse right now. I expect the right-hander to more than hold his own and I’m really not all that sure what Bailey is going to be able to do in his season debut. If he can shake off the shoulder troubles and come out and dominate for five or six innings it may not even be enough against Myers and if he looks rusty than to get any money at all with the ‘Stros is a joke.

Houston is coming off of that bad loss yesterday and it’s never a bad thing to back a team in such spot as more times than not they will be focused and play well that next game. In the end I’m about Pence, Bourn and the boys from Houston to do enough for Myers in a victory.

Top expert pick on this game: Houston from Matt Rivers

For more information: A solid winning Wednesday as the 400,000* on the Mavericks won outright and the first hockey play that I released was on the big dog Sharks who took care of business in overtime. I’m ready to go now for Thursday and continue to build on the sick profit margin with a pair of plays on the diamond. 300,000* Milwaukee-Atlanta and a 200,000* New York and Detroit. I’m the best there is and will be just that today! Click now to purchase

Mavericks vs. Lakers Picks and Predictions

The Atlanta Hawks are at the Chicago Bulls, while the Dallas Mavericks are at the Los Angeles Lakers. Plus there is a full slate of MLB. Two elite handicappers have picks and previews for tonight.

OffshoreInsiders.com Senior Sports Handicapper Matt Rivers has a Wednesday winner and it is on the Atlanta Hawks (+9) against the Chicago Bulls.

Reasoning: I won’t say that I love this game two because frankly it seems a little easy to me and that more times than not is the kiss of death in the NBA.

If you take the names off of the jerseys from game one and ask anybody, sports fan or not, who the better team was it wouldn’t even be close. Larry Drew’s team manned up in a big-time way and flat out deserved to win that first game. Nobody has ever disputed the talent on this Atlanta team. It has been more about their Heart and killer instinct. Guys like Joe Johnson and Josh Smith just seem to fade off into oblivion at times and not play up to their All-Star capabilities. But Johnson and his 34 points showed in that last game how good he could be, Jamal Crawford has been balling and Smith along with Al Horford can play big and do some good things. These guys upset Dwight Howard and the Magic in the first series and now took game one at the United Center, a place where very few teams have been successful.

Tom Thibodeau’s team will come out and play with some anger, which you can bet on. But both Derrick Rose and Carlos Boozer are banged up, if not “injured”, and all of a sudden this 62 win Chicago team has become extremely vulnerable in the playoffs. The Pacers looked to be the superior team in a lot of the last series but couldn’t close the deal late in games. Now in game one of this series it really wasn’t even close. So all in all to get another large number like this with the far healthier squad and quite possibly all of a sudden the more confident squad makes me fine with the visitors from Atlanta.

Top expert pick on this game: Atlanta Hawks from Matt Rivers

Now the winningiest sports service off all-time GodsTips has a baseball pick and preview. It’s to go with Tampa -119 to the Toronto Blue Jays.

Reasoning: Tampa has won 7-of-9. The Rays are 26-8 against the Blue Jays at Tropicana Field.  I can’t lie, this angle has random chance contributing, but still we can’t completely ignore that Rays are 19-3 in Niemann’s last 22 starts during game 2 of a series.

Sports service picks: Tampa in MLB from GodsTips anchor of OffshoreInsiders.com
