Your comp winner for Tuesday is on the Jazz says Matt Rivers.
LeBron, D Wade, Bosh and the Heat are obviously awesome and the best team in the entire NBA. Miami does have two losses but they are still the gold standard, I don’t care who else has a better record. With that said though if you want to ever give me Deron Williams and a still very solid Utah team plus double digits I’m in, period, end of story.
Carlos Boozer is gone and that hurts but Al Jefferson is very good and Jerry Sloan’s team all in all is going to win around 50 games once again. The Jazz haven’t played since Saturday and are as fresh as can be and certainly will be properly motivated to face this new look Miami team which has a monster arrow on their collective chests.
I am not a fool and do realize that Erik Spoelstra’s club has the upside to whack around any team at anytime and anywhere so calling this thing a lock would be silly. But Williams, Jefferson, Millsap, Kirilenko, Bell and the Jazz are a very good NBA team with a fairly high ceiling themselves. Therefore whenever I can get a price like this with them I just have to take my chances, win or lose.
