While most of the sports betting world is on hold, Tom Brady’s cross-conference move has had a massive impact on the NFL futures markets at SportsBetting

On February 3, the day after the Super Bowl, the Buccaneers had 66-1, or +6600, odds to win Super Bowl LV. Yesterday morning, Tampa’s odds opened at 33-1, then moved to 25-1 and dropped as low as 12-1. 

Currently, the Bucs odds to win the Super Bowl are 20-1. 

In terms of AFC South odds, the Saints remain odds-on favorites (-125) to take the division again, but Tampa’s odds went from 8-1 to 2-1 following the Brady news. 

The Bucs currently have the third-best odds to win the NFC at 17-2, or +850.

For New England, its odds have shifted with a question mark at quarterback, but not as much as you might think. 

“As long as they have that hooded genius roaming the sidelines in Foxboro, the Patriots are never going to be too far off from the favorite position,” said Robert Cooper, head linesman at SportsBetting.ag.

The Patriots had 12-1 Super Bowl odds yesterday morning, but now their chances have jumped to 20-1. Their odds to win the AFC are third at 10-1.
