The Los Angeles Dodgers take on the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 1 of the NLSC. Derek Lowe is on the hill for the Dodgers, Cole Hamels for the Phillies. The sportsbooks betting line has Hamels a 133 favorite with the over/under odds at 7.5.

Cole Hamels has a 1.71 ERA in his last three starts with an impressive WHIP of .95.

Tuesday night again features a Florida Atlantic contest this week, as the Owls play host to the Troy Trojans in a Sun Belt matchup. Florida Atlantic suffered their third straight defeat last week, giving up a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns in a 14-13 loss to Middle Tennessee. The Owls at least covered the spread on the road in that game, so they’re 3-2 ATS on the season despite only picking up the victory in one of their five outings.

The Trojans were thumped 55-24 by Oklahoma State last time out, a week after falling 28-10 to ranked Ohio State. Troy had started the season with back-to-back wins over Middle Tennessee and cupcake Alcorn State. The Trojans were 17.5-point underdogs versus the Cowboys and couldn’t cover the spread; they’re now 2-1 ATS on the season.

The oddsmakers opened the Trojans as 3.5-point favorites to get the win Tuesday night.
