NFL Holdout Odds, Fantasy Football Odds, Cheatsheet

Books have set odds on the possibility of players such as Ezekiel Elliott and Melvin Gordon holding out beyond the preseason.

Additionally, the site SportsBetting has rolled out odds to capture the NFL’s passing, receiving and rushing titles.

Matt Ryan and Patrick Mahomes are favored to lead the league in passing while Julio Jones sits atop a lengthly list of players for the receiving title. Elliott is just ahead of Saquon Barkley for the odds to be the rushing leader for the second straight season.

According to the numbers, oddsmakers anticipate that Elliott and Jadeveon Clowney will end their holdouts and play in Week 1 of the regular season, but they don’t expect Melvin Gordon or Trent Williams to be suited up for their respective teams.

Blockbuster MLB Trades Cause Several Line Moves

The MLB trade deadline nearly came and went without a splash, but then Zack Greinke was dealt to the Astros, which caused a ripple in the World Series odds.

The site SportsBetting.ag (www.sportsbetting.ag) updated its futures odds following yesterday’s trade deadline.

Last week, the Astros had 9/2 odds to win the World Series, which was third on the board at that time behind the Dodgers (3/1) and Yankees (7/2), but they are now the favorites following the Greinke acquisition.

Here is a timeline of the odds from preseason to All-Star Break to post-deadline:
