Kansas vs. UTEP

SMU vs. UAB

Handicapping notes: SMU has lost 17 in a row straight up in the conference. This is the first of three straight road games for them. It’s the second straight week Alabama-Birmingham is a favorite and only the third time in three years.

East Carolina vs. West Virginia

Handicapping notes: This is a huge revenge game for the Mountaineers. Last year WVU was considered a national championship contender until they were humiliated by East Carolina. It’s a circled game as head coach Bill Stewart stressed all offseason why WVU needed to get tougher.

ECU played Appalachian State last week, a team that has a similar offense to WVU. However, East Carolina is much more experienced on the defensive line than West Virginia is on the offensive line.

The Pirates are 0-12 straight up in Morgantown, the last trip resulting in a 48-7 loss.

USC vs. Ohio State
