Against the spread records: The Panthers are 2-8 as favorites. They are 0-5 as double digit favorites on the road. The Bulls are 11-1 as an underdog, 7-0 after allowing less than 20 points last game, yet 2-9 to the Big East.

Against the spread records: The Golden Flashes are 6-22 after allowing less than 100 yards rushing last game and 0-7 off an straight up win.

Texas vs. Wyoming

Handicapping notes: This is the biggest game in the history of Wyoming as Texas is the highest ranked team to ever play in Laramie, Wyoming. Conversely it’s the smallest venue Texas will play in all year, 1/3 the capacity of the Longhorns home crowd last week.

Texas may have motivation to keep the defensive starters in if there is a blowout. Wyoming is a pass oriented team and Texas could use the practice as they face Texas Tech next week.

Texas will be playing in the highest altitude stadium in FBS. Wyoming will play two QBs, Robert Benjamin and Austyn Carta-Samuels.

Wyoming was outscored in three blowouts to ranked teams by a margin of 138-14.

Against the spread records: The Longhorns are 8-1 after getting more than 450 total yards previous game and 26-12 off ATS loss.

Wyoming is 4-22 overall, but 6-1 as home double digit dogs

Idaho State vs. Oklahoma

Handicapping notes: So much has been made of the injury to Heisman Trophy winner Sam Bradford, out the Sooners are also without TE Jermaine Greshman for the year. He will be replaced versatile Brody Eldridge, who has a broken finger. Gresham had only 11 receptions in 39 games.

Eastern Michigan vs. Northwestern

Handicapping notes: The Eagles are 0-24 straight up all-time to the Big Ten. EMU comes in with a new head coach and two new coordinators.

Northwestern head coach Pat Fitzgerald has told his team that they need a better effort than last week’s 47-14 whitewashing over Towson. He said he felt they “took their foot off the gas.” All-conference DE Corey Wootton was rested last week, getting 14 or 15 snaps.

The Wildcats will be without starting CB Sherrick McManis and starting RB Jeravin Matthews. McManis is an all-conference candidate.

Top expert pick on this game: There is not a documented world class handicapper with a highly enough rated play on this game. However, The MasterLockLine has the top plays from the top sports services in their highest ranked sports. Today’s sports picks menu is up.

Houston vs. Oklahoma State

Handicapping notes: This is a possible big letdown situation as the Cowboys defeated Georgia last week, easily the biggest nonconference win in history. Houston is no slouch, the consensus preseason favorites to win the C-USA West.
