College Football free Winner for week 6

It ain’t bragging if it’s true! I am 32-15 in football off another complete sweep of named plays. I am simply so far and away the top football handicapper in the world, almost no pro bettors will bet without my wisdom. NFL and college football winners for Thursday. Friday, get a college football total. Saturday, AAC Total of the Year and Big 10 Cross-Divisional Total of the Year among three Wise Guy among 11 football winners. Sunday, the Mr. NFL responds with five NFL Wise Guys and three Majors. Get the picks now

AKRON +14.5 Bowling Green

College football handicapping is arguably the sport slightly different than some of the other US ATS sports. Most of my best systems would fall under the umbrella of counterintuitive, but this is one of several in college football that are more intuitive. Basically it says to take big points in games the oddsmakers tell us points will be tough to come by.

Big road underdogs in games expected to be low-scoring are 479-352. Power ratings have this a 9.8 point game, thus at 3.8 percent edge. My top simulator has Akron covering 62 percent of the time.

NBA Odds Tight, Shaken by Injuries

The NBA’s opening night is exactly two weeks away so it’s a good time to look at the odds heading into the 2021-22 season.

At SportsBetting, the Clippers find themselves with much worse odds than they had at the start of last season (+500). Kawhi Leonard is recovering from an ACL injury, and the Pacific Division is much improved.

The Warriors, however, are fourth on the odds board with Klay Thompson expected to return to action in December or January.

Below are the latest division, conference and title odds, and current odds leading to and throughout the season can be found SportsBetting

Rice-Southern Miss UNDER 45.5

Conference USA West Total of the Year

When a math total has a large enough difference to the posted total, we use the oddsmakers knowledge against them. Because we store each over and under differently in each sport, the over and under angles will have different records, but in reality one could combine them for an overall record.  The under version goes under at a rate of 898-647. Teams off dominating running game go under 488-226. Combining both rushing and math totals produces a stunning under of 94-33.

Oregon State-Washington UNDER 55.5

Teams off dominating running game go under 488-226.

Texas-TCU UNDER 67

Teams off dominating running game go under 488-226.

NEW ENGLAND +7 Tampa SNF

SNF Interconference Game of the Year

I have been monitoring contrarian betting for decades and this is one of the strongest contrarian bets I have ever seen. Every square on earth loves the Bucs, but sharps do not agree. One of our top projection models did 10,000 simulations and found them covering at a rate of 54 percent. When a team has a substantially more disappointing offense based on delta points scored, they become a strong bet as regression to the mean takes place. Delta points scored is how many points they scored relative to the oddsmakers posted team total or implied total based on the odds and spread.

This is an outsourced pick from the short-list of very entrusted experts. Previously called a competitor consensus, the name was changed to reflect it does not always come from the few quality professionals who sell picks, but also can come from any sharp source. As long as I am not leaning the other way, I will bet a trusted outscource.

ARIZONA +4.5 LA Rams 4:05

I have seen this movie before. An underachieving QB gets new life after being traded. The world is convinced he is finally in the perfect situation. Just as expectations skyrocket, we find out the player is what we thought they were. I am not buying that Matt Stafford is one of the top QBs in the league. As a fairly big favorite against a good team, I fully expect the honeymoon to come to a crashing halt

Margin of cover is a long-time tool of original cappers used to measure the reliability of the often deceptive ATS and OU records. It is much like margin of victory, except it measures margin relative to the point spread or OU. With over-under, “overs” are listed first. Some Johnny-Come-Lately handicappers call this the sweat barometer.

Shocking New Heisman 2021 Frontrunner; 2 one-loss teams Among top 4 Title Odds

Could this year’s Heisman Trophy go to a player not on a title-contending team?

In the latest Heisman odds from SportsBetting  Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral has moved in front of Alabama signal caller Bryce Young to take over the top spot.

Corral entered the season with 25-1 Heisman odds. Through three games, he’s completed 68.8% of his passes for 997 yards with nine touchdowns and no interceptions.

Ole Miss is undefeated so Lane Kiffin’s squad is still in the CFP National Championship picture, but the Rebels’ current 50-1 odds suggest their chances are still very long. Ole Miss had 100-1 odds going in to Saturday.

Spencer Rattler, the preseason Heisman favorite, has seen his odds fall to 10-1.

The top 10 teams in the country prevailed over the weekend so there wasn’t a ton of shakeup in terms of the national title odds.

Alabama and Georgia separated themselves from the pack a bit more after lackluster victories by Clemson and Oklahoma.

Penn State’s odds moved from 40-1 to 25-1 following the Auburn game.
